ERVAS are holding some new Cyber Security training courses designed for charities within the East Yorkshire area, Cyber Security is everyone’s business and it’s important to know what to do if your charity falls victim of a cyber-attack. They have now added some additional dates for the delivery of these courses.

Do you know how to protect your organisation against a cyber-attack?
Have you thought about the risks to your charity if you were hacked, phished or your online presence crashed?

ERVAs have partnered with the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to bring you an awareness session about how to protect your organisation and understand more about what cyber security means to you.

The session will cover the following:

  • What is cyber security
  • Threats that charities face
  • Backing up your data
  • Protecting your charity from malware
  • Keeping your smartphones safe
  • Using passwords
  • Avoiding phishing attacks
  • Reporting an incident

If you would like to discuss the session further, please do not hesitate to contact them directly on 01482 871 077 or email training@ervas.org.uk.
