European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Launches Climate Change Call in Humber

Humber LEP eligible for funding for projects promoting climate change adaptation and management.

A new Call has been launched under the ERDF strand of the European Structural and Investment Funds for the Humber. Grants from a minimum of £500,000 are available to run a project promoting climate change adaptation, risk prevention and management in the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership area.

The call is specifically promoting investment to address specific risks, ensuring disaster resilience and developing disaster management systems. Proposals should clearly articulate and demonstrate how activities align with domestic strategic priorities and offer good value for money.

The total budget for the call is £3.6 million. It is anticipated that funding will be awarded for up to three years and projects must cover the Humber LEP area.

The deadline for outline applications is 20 April 2018.
