This free session is aimed at organisations that have staff or volunteers visiting vulnerable people in their homes. It will equip them with knowledge and skills that will enable them to spot victims of fraud or scams and what to do with any information they may find.
Last year the FCA estimated that fraud cost the UK £192 billion. In South Yorkshire we are seeing hundreds of victims every month, the majority of victims are older people, many living in social isolation. This session will cover telephone, postal and internet fraud along with common doorstep crime scams.
