Funding of up to £10,000 is now available for communities in the Yorkshire region for projects that promote a heart healthy lifestyle.

Who can apply for funding?

Funding is awarded for original, innovative projects that promote heart health and help reduce the risk of developing heart disease.

Projects should aim to promote activities such as cooking skills, healthy eating, improving physical activity levels and mental wellbeing, all with a focus on a heart healthy lifestyle.

Grants are only available to not-for-profit organisations, including:

  • Charities
  • Community groups
  • Voluntary organisations
  • Sports groups

Heart Research UK and Subway® Healthy Heart Grants are funded by the Subway Helping Hearts™ Family 5K events and in-store fundraising across Subway® stores near you.
