We are currently recruiting to the role of:


Salary:           £21,000

Hours:            35 hours per week

Start Date:    ASAP 

Hull CVS Payroll Bureau consists of two elements:

  1. Direct payments payroll facility administered by Hull City Council for people in receipt of Individual Living Grants which currently cater for circa 700 individuals which entails monthly payments to over 1,000 carers.
  2. Bureau service that is provided to small charities and the not for profit sector, this covers payroll for around 40 organisations and process payroll for circa 200 employees per month.


As Payroll Team Leader, you will be working very closely with the Finance Officer (as right hand person), managing the day to day payroll processing for clients within the bureau.

You will build, develop and motivate your team through outstanding leadership, inspiring individuals to maximise their performance while dealing honestly with poor performance.

The Team Leader will also be responsible for taking on new clients, scheduling the team’s workload while delivering excellent customer service for all clients.
