Job Title: Marketing Administrator
Based: Cottingham
Reports to (Role): CEO
Full Time / Part Time: Full time and part time opportunities (min 22.5 hours)
Salary: £16,000 to £18,000 FTE

R-evolution are an East Riding based charity providing training and life coaching to disadvantaged people in an effort to help them move towards employment. Bike maintenance and horticulture trainees spend between 3-9 months developing a range of soft skills.

R-evolution run 20 bike libraries, re-home 1500 bikes each year and offer training and support to the local community.

Role
Overall Purpose 

  • To maintain the administration of R-evolution.

Responsibilities 

  • Acting as a receptionist at R-evolution’s main office including taking phone calls, welcoming people to the organisation and taking payments
  • Maintaining R-evolution website and distributing social media information, including through the R-evolution Facebook page, twitter and Instagram. Distributing public update e-mails
  • Developing posters and leaflets
  • Assisting with planning and organising events and activities with schools and employers
  • General administrative duties including filing, amending reports and organising meetings
  • Maintaining employee, volunteer and trainee paperwork, storing it securely in accordance with GDPR policy
  • Updating policies and procedures and making them available on the public area of the server
  • Developing written and video case studies
  • Maintaining evaluation systems and training paperwork
  • Pricing materials and equipment, ordering and arranging delivery
  • Preparing minutes for board meetings
  • Any other duties relevant to the level of the post as reasonably requested

Person Specification
Formal Qualifications 

  • Good secondary education
  • Marketing qualification

Skills

  • Good communication skills including a high standard of written English
  • Basic computer skills

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of social media

Experience 

  • Administrative experience in a small organisation preferred
  • Experience of maintaining a website and social media accounts

Personal Qualities 

  • Structured approach to work – willingness to follow procedures and policies
