The Warren: Learning Activist (With a focus on LGBTQ+ work).

For the past 35 years LGBTQ+ Young People have been at the creative and passionate campaigning heart of Hull’s Warren Youth Project. The Warren’s Award winning LGBTQ+ support group – Shout – has always been there for LGBTQ+ young people in Hull and often much further beyond, giving them the space, time and support they need. Shout has also been a hugely positive and exciting influence on how The Warren has shaped its innovative support services for all of our region’s young people.

We now we want to strive further to develop our LGBTQ+ support to ensure it continues to be relevant to the here and now and the future challenges to come. That’s why we are looking for the right person to help us over the next 7 months to build on that wonderful legacy and shape the future of how we support LGBTQ+ young people. Somebody with the energy and drive to develop radical and exciting new ideas that could become the basis of a funded long-term initiative that will create the next 35 years of our story.

If you think that person could be you, we’d be really interested to hear from you!

Due to the nature of this position, we are actively recruiting for a candidate who identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

The closing date for this position is Friday 9th February at 12 noon, with interviews taking place during the week commencing February 12th.
