Bransholme Trust Grants – Funding is Now Open

Funding is available to community groups and organisations who deliver activities which improve the lives of people living on Bransholme, with grants of up to £500 available. The fund aims to support activities that will encourage people to become involved in their local communities, have a better quality of life, enable people of all ages to develop new skills and encourage people to become more active.

Humber Learning Consortium are pleased to announce a further round of funding available, the ESF Community Grants Programme 2016-2018 has now been extended to March 2019. The launch of the 6th round of funding is now published. The fund is commissioned through the Skill Fund Agency (SFA) and is a key investment that supports the delivery of the ESIF strategy.

Construction of a new multi-million pound mental health inpatient unit for young people from Hull, the East Riding and North and North-East Lincolnshire will begin within weeks after the Government approved the money to pay for it.

Local man, and former British Army infantry soldier Trevor David Betts is the Volunteer Team Leader at Asda Mount Pleasant, Hull store for the annual Asda and Help for Heroes fund raising event on Saturday and Sunday 21st and 22nd July 2018. He served for 16 years in the 7th & 2nd Battalions of the Royal Anglian Regiment and he is a Northern Ireland Veteran.
