One night out can make a lifetime of difference!!

Will you take part in our Sleep Easy event to raise awareness of homelessness issues and valuable funds to support local Charities.

YMCA Humber is calling on local people to come together and sleep rough for one night to support local, homeless young people in Hull.

YMCA Humber’s Sleep Easy event will take place on Friday 2nd February 2018 and see participants make their own shelters to sleep out in for one night, with the intention of raising awareness of homelessness issues and funds to help YMCA Humber and Hull based Charities to continue to support homeless people.

This year’s event in Hull will take place at Wilberforce College, Salthouse Road and will run from 6pm on Friday 2nd February 2018 to 6am the following morning. We are encouraging charities who work with a similar client group to join us on the night and raise funds to support their own services. Local organisations Humbercare, The Salvation Army and Child Dynamics will be joining us on the night.

You can register for the event by going to the Sleep Easy Fundraising site, which can be found at

YMCA Humber has hosted Sleep Easy nights since 2010 and has raised £125,000 in that time. Money brought in has helped YMCA and Partners to provide vital services for homeless people in the region and help them move forward in their lives.

Local charities work with hundreds of homeless people each year, providing supported accommodation, therapeutic services, educational support and community based activities for young people, adults and families across the region.

This year we are hoping to raise £20,000 to support local Charities in the region.

Come and join us and help us continue to support some of the most vulnerable people in the region!!
