HERIB Annual Ladies Luncheon

HERIB is inviting the ladies of Hull & East Yorkshire to spread a little glamour and join the
charity at its annual Ladies Luncheon event.

The event, which is sponsored by Thomas International, takes place on Tuesday 25th April at the Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel and all the monies raised will go to supporting local people who are blind or partially sighted.

As well as enjoying a delicious two course lunch with coffee, guests will have the opportunity to listen to an inspirational and motivational talk from  guest speaker Naomi Riches M.B.E. – a London 2012 Paralympic Gold Medallist.

Born in 1983, Naomi was diagnosed at just 8 weeks old with a Visual Impairment; her parents knew that from day one this would throw up many difficulties and challenges. They did not realise though that their little girl would never let her disability stand in her way.

At the 2012 London Paralympic Games Naomi achieved what some athlete’s only dream of; winning a Gold Medal at a home Games. Now retired from full time sport, she motivates, inspires and enables others to achieve their business and personal goals.

Our Ladies Luncheon is always one of the highlights of our fundraising year,” said Angela Gregory, HERIB’s Fundraising Manager. “So we are extremely grateful to Thomas International for sponsoring Naomi’s appearance at this year’s event. The chance to meet and learn from such incredible role models are few and far between so we hope the ladies of Hull and East Yorkshire will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity
Plus it’s also fabulous excuse to dress up, get together with friends or colleagues and show your support for a local charity
