Volunteer Regional Advisory Committee Member (Children in Need, North Region)

Skills for Volunteers

This free course provides a great introduction to what it means to be a volunteer.
You don’t need to volunteering already to take part.

The 2 hour topics covered during the 11 weeks provide adults with support and information to gain increased knowledge, skills and confidence to be useful, and benefit from the satisfaction gained from helping other people.

Topics include personal skills and strengths, looking for volunteer opportunities, handling difficult situations, confidentiality and safeguarding.
