In response to guidance issued by the Government in relation to Coronavirus/Covid 19, Hull CVS have taken the decision to close our office at The Strand. However we would stress that for individuals in receipt of a Direct Payment, both Hull CVS and Choices & Rights are continuing to provide our range of services as follows:
Contact & Communication:
We will no longer be able to respond to drop-ins or face to face meetings, or take calls on our usual office telephone numbers. However you will now be able to contact our team on the following numbers:
- Barbara Adair: 07717 362499
- Gina Boardman: 07717 358243
- Rachael Fischer: 07415 105494
- Leah Barton: 07990 112370
- Karen Rustill: 01482 595531
You can also continue to contact us via email on our usual email addresses:
Please rest assured that calls will continue to be answered by our experienced team, and if they can’t answer your query they will be able to direct your enquiry to someone who can.
In line with people being encouraged to reduce their social movement, it is not possible for us to receive your timesheets via the post, therefore we recommend that you find alternative methods for suppling your timesheets to us. These can be accepted via email or we can accept a clear screen shot/photo via text if this is easier for you. If this is going to be problematic for you just call your normal contact on the number provided we’ll work something out. We are also happy to accept verbal hours over the phone in the current circumstances.
Under the current circumstances we are unable to send payslips and paperwork out in the post as regularly as we usually would. Each team member will be working from the office at least once a fortnight and your paperwork will be posted out then, please accept our apologies for this delay. We are happy to email you with a report to demonstrate what will need to be paid and to whom, and can also provide you with this information over the phone. Please let us know how you would prefer this information.
If your employees need to self/household isolate in line with guidance, they will be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) from day 1 if they meet the usual criteria for SSP. If you choose to send your PA home for whatever reason, you will still have to pay them in full. Please note, you cannot just pay someone else instead. If you have any queries or concerns in relation to this then please either call Choices & Rights or us to discuss in detail.
Choices & Rights:
Choices & Rights are also continuing to provide their services. They too are unable to respond to drop-ins or face to face meetings. They can still be contacted on 01482 878778 but it may take longer than usual for calls to be responded to. Therefore it is advised that contact is made wherever possible via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we can support you in any way during these unprecedented times, please do not hesitate to contact us.
