FareShare (Hull and Humber) are looking for Volunteer Drivers, Drivers Mates and Warehouse Assistants to help fight food poverty in Hull.
If you hold a full UK driving license or want to gain warehouse experience and can spare a few mornings a week, you can help!
Within this role the volunteer drivers and driver mates will be responsible for delivery of food to a wide variety of community organisations in and around Hull. This will include following instructions outlined in delivery/customer paperwork and ensuring the customer checks and signs for their delivery.
Volunteer warehouse roles will involve picking and packing of orders, breaking down consignments and stock rotation.
Volunteers must work in a friendly and professional manner, especially when meeting with customers.
Some manual labour will be needed and volunteers will spend a period of time on their feet.
This role will be ideal for someone who has an interest in or wishing to take up a career in driving/delivery/distribution or warehousing.
