Networks and Partnerships

Voluntary and Community Sector organisations and those working in the sector are directly affected by government policies. Therefore it is important that the views of the sector are reflected accurately in decision making. To ensure Hull has a voice we are members of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO).

In Hull there are a variety of support networks, forums and alliances that work to represent people and organisations of the city. We seek to utilise this range of opportunities to represent and advocate for the voluntary and community organisations in the city, and provide a platform for sector organisations in the local area to engage and communicate with Public and Statutory partners.

Support for Commissioners and Public Sector bodies

We have many years’ experience in developing networks and forums to enable the sector organisations to explore issues and share best practice, and to provide a platform for the public and private sectors to consult with the third sector.

If you are looking to consult with the sector on an area of development then we can help share information across the sector, or facilitate the development of new networks and forums. Contact us for more information by calling 01482 324474 or emailing
