Introduction to Effective Social Media Use

With 82.8% of people in the UK using social media, it is more important now than ever for organisations to effectively use social media so they are able to reach their desired audience and promote their work and outcomes.

This training session covers the fundamentals every organisation needs to know such as how to:

• adapt communication and messaging
• create a campaign and remain safe when following trends
• meet accessibility requirements and guidelines
• follow best practice for content design, including tagging and hashtags
• avoid potential pitfalls of social media and algorithms
• safely use equality, diversity and inclusion / awareness days / weeks
