Launched in 2024, Working4Good is a dedicated service which provides free specialised training and support to help build stronger foundations for future volunteers and volunteering in Hull. The service has now run for a year and had significant local impact.
Hull Community Fund grants are targeted at small organisations (under £200,000 turnover) with charitable aims where a small amount of money can make a significant difference. You can apply if you are based in or serving the people of Hull.
Funded through the Department for Work and Pensions - DWP, made available via Hull City Council and facilitated by Hull CVS and Hull Food Partnership; the Hull Community Food Support Grants are open until midnight on Sunday 31st August 2025.
Applications can be made for resources and equipment that help to empower community food resilience, including for suitable spaces where residents can access food related support.

Better Youth Spaces is a capital grants fund operating across 42 Priority Areas that focuses on small scale-capital projects and other capital projects to help youth organisations to better support the young people they work with. Organisations who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for £5,000 to £100,000 if their project meets at least one of the fund objectives.
Whether you work with children or adults, professional curiosity is a skill that is needed within all aspects of your work and organisation. Hull's Early Help Partnership are hosting a webinar on Tuesday 8th July at 12 Noon which includes top tips in how to elicit curious thinking in your role.
This fund enables Co-op member owners to choose from around 2,500 local new causes and decide how a further £5 million will be shared.
