HMP Hull is keen to work with local charities and voluntary groups, utilising their in house Print Shop to provide low cost design and print services to the sector.

The HMP Print Shop is a state of the art design and print studio that provides work and employment within the prison for offenders whilst in custody, to deliver quality design and printing services.

The aim is to make HMP Hull a place of work that reflects industry in the community, whilst equipping prisoners with the knowledge, skills and interventions that support and encourage rehabilitation and a smooth transition back into the community, upon release.

The Print Shop offer a comprehensive service from design to print, liaising with the client through the process to take rough concepts through to final print ready artwork. The Print Shop specialises in design and branding and can produce a range of printed products in a variety of finishes and sizes including:

  • Leaflets
  • Booklets
  • Posters
  • Invitations
  • Greeting cards
  • T-shirts
  • Hoodies
  • Mugs
  • Mouse mats
  • Badges
  • Door signs

Hull CVS recently visited the Print Shop, witnessing for themselves the hive of activity in the art, design and print studio, and seeing first hand the impressive range of high quality finished designs and printed products.

If you are a charity or voluntary group struggling to develop a concept or image to promote your work; or if you are struggling to obtain competitive prices for your printing needs, particularly for lower print runs, HMP Hull will be happy to discuss these with you.
