Networks and Partnerships

Third sector organisations and the people they work with are directly affected by government policies. Therefore it is important that the views of the third sector are reflected accurately in decision making.

In Hull there are a variety of support networks, forums and alliances that work to represent people and organisations of the city. CVS seeks to utilise this range of opportunities to represent and advocate for the voluntary and community organisations in Hull, and provide a platform for third sector organisations in the local area to engage and communicate with Public and Statutory partners.

Support for Commissioners and Public Sector bodies

CVS has many years’ experience in developing networks and forums to enable third sector organisations to explore issues and share best practice, and to provide a platform for the public and private sectors to consult with the third sector. If you are looking to consult with the sector on an area of development, Hull CVS has a database of 600 local voluntary and community sector organisations. We can share information across the sector, or facilitate the development of new networks and forums. Contact us for more information – details below.
