As a Healthwatch Project Officer you will be responsible for finding ways to engage with a diverse range of individuals and groups from within the local community and use your range of interpersonal skills to discover their feedback and experiences. We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and experienced Caretaker to join our team. You will be responsible for the security, maintenance, and upkeep of three key buildings and their grounds. Working closely with facilities and cleaning staff, you will ensure our properties are safe, functional, and presented to a high standard.

In this dynamic role, you will initiate, write, edit, coordinate, and publish engaging content across multiple channels, from the website and social media to print and online marketing materials. A core part of your responsibility will be to understand the segmentation of our audiences, tailoring communications and marketing efforts to maximise engagement and progressively improve our understanding of what works.

The post holder will not only have the technical ability to develop and use necessary web and publication tools but will also be willing to learn new systems and cascade understanding to the wider group.

As a Healthwatch Manager you will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the local Healthwatch service effectively acts as the independent consumer champion for health and social care services in their area. You will need to be able to converse with a wide range of stakeholders and have the ability to present projects, feedback and recommendations at a variety of meetings.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Healthwatch, managing staff and volunteers, and ensuring the organisation meets its contractual and statutory obligations.

DOMESTIC ABUSE HELPLINE SUPPORT WORKER

 24 hours per week, 1-year fixed term contract

Salary £25,118.80 (pro rata)

The ideal candidate would have demonstrable experience of working with those affected by domestic abuse. Have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of a diverse and vulnerable client group.
You will have some knowledge of housing, welfare and policy relating to domestic/sexual abuse, as well as excellent administrative and effective communication skills.

The role requires flexibility and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

• Experience of working in a kitchen environment and planning menus.
