As a Payroll Manager within Hull CVS, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services, alongside the administration of Direct Payments that support individuals to manage their own care and support needs. You will also provide essential HR support, helping ensure staff and service users are supported in line with organisational values, safeguarding principles, and relevant legislation. This role is key to maintaining trust, transparency, and accountability.

The Downright Special Health Lead is responsible for supporting families and professionals in understanding the health and wellbeing needs of children and young people with Down syndrome.

Working directly with parents, carers, professionals in health and social care and the Downright Special team, you will have the drive and passion to improve health outcomes and enhance the experience of health care services for people with Down syndrome. You will have responsibility for developing strategies, tools and resources to empower parents and carers to be able to navigate the health and care system and support their child/young person’s health, wellbeing and development.

You will ideally have a background in a health-related role such as Learning Disability Nurse, Paediatric Nurse, Health Visitor or other relevant health profession.
