As a Healthwatch Manager you will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the local Healthwatch service effectively acts as the independent consumer champion for health and social care services in their area. You will need to be able to converse with a wide range of stakeholders and have the ability to present projects, feedback and recommendations at a variety of meetings.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Healthwatch, managing staff and volunteers, and ensuring the organisation meets its contractual and statutory obligations.

DOMESTIC ABUSE HELPLINE SUPPORT WORKER
24 hours per week, 1-year fixed term contract

The ideal candidate would have demonstrable experience of working with those affected by domestic abuse. Have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of a diverse and vulnerable client group.
You will have some knowledge of housing, welfare and policy relating to domestic/sexual abuse, as well as excellent administrative and effective communication skills.
The role requires flexibility and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
