Delivered by ReNew, this session will provide learners with an insight into the harm reduction process, overdose awareness and the different testing and treatment available.

What you will learn:

The harm reduction approach and the theory behind it.
What the prescribed/non-prescribed drugs Benzodiazepines/Gabapentinoids are for, and the risks associated with use
Overdose awareness such as the risks associated with use and mixing substances
Polydrug use, information, and risks
Different bloodborne viruses, such as Hepatitis C, and the symptoms of these
The different testing and treatment
The different people at risk of carrying the Hepatitis C virus
The risks of sharing paraphernalia in drug use.

Anyone who wishes to gain more knowledge about drugs and the risks associated with intake.
