Does your organisation use Microsoft’s Non-Profit Licenses?
From Tuesday 1st July 2025, Microsoft will no longer be offering charities free non-profit licensing and existing licenses will be cancelled upon renewal after this date.
To avoid distribution, organisations are advised to review their account to ensure they renew onto Microsoft’s discounted charity license which costs £54 per user each year, as data could be lost if licenses are cancelled and your information is not saved elsewhere.
For any organisation seeking an alternative option, registered charities can apply for Google’s Non-profit license which contains packages such as Google Docs, Spreadsheet and Slides, as well as providing other non-profit benefits.
